June 20th.
Pat,
I saw your ad on Craig's List and went to your web site.
I'd like you to make me 3 Adirondack Chairs stained with Rubbol Solid DEK forest green
stain.
I live in the metro area.
Regards,
Scott

June 21st
Thank you for your order Scott!
Taking just a little break right now to answer your mail. And yes I'm working on your
chairs even as I write this...well sort of, adhesive is drying.
Images of your chairs being made will be up later this afternoon. I'll send you the link.
The chairs should be ready for your inspection, prior to staining by Wed 6/24/09. At
that time I'll bring out a stain chip. If there are other stain chips you would like to
see let me know.
Staining requires an additional 3 to 4 days depending on the weather. Hot and dry
weather speeds up the process. I use a total of three coats with a buffing of steel wool
between coats to produce a very smooth finish.
Prior to staining I do require a 30% non-refundable deposit.
Cost of each chair is $175.00
ps. Yes the cost is $150 per chair unstained, $175 stained. You are not obligated to pay until final delivery.

June 23rd
Still on track for the chairs to be finished unstained by Wed evening.
Right now two are complete but without the seat slats.
I'll be posting pictures of these two in just a bit.
I always leave the slats to aid in staining. Much easier and quicker.
Both these chairs are still a little rough around the edges as they have not had their final sanding.
Please click for a very large image.
Thank you

I so need to mow my grass.
Final coat to be applied on Sat weather permiting.
It's been a while since I've done Forest Green. Just love the color. (please to note front door)
Seat slats to be in on Sat. Thinking of doing a dip stain where the slat is covered and then hung to dry.
All images are clickable.
Need to go mow.
